Customers often ask: can I make multiple mutations with the Q5 Site Directed Mutagenesis Kit?

You can make multiple mutations as long as you can incorporate the mutations into the primer set. If you need to make multiple mutations in different places in the plasmid, you may find that some of our other products are more suitable. For example, Gibson Assembly Master Mix and NEBuilder HiFi DNA Assembly Master Mix will allow you to make multiple mutations in different places in the plasmid.
