Daily Course Schedule

  • 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Lecture and lab
  • 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch
  • 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Lecture and lab
  • 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Dinner
  • 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Lecture and/or lab

Payment details

Registration is $4,800 per participant. Full payment is due one month following receipt of your email acceptance letter, and a $300 late fee will be applied to payments that are provided late.

Applicants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. We continue to accept applications until the course is full. After the course is filled, applications will be added to a waitlist. If your application is accepted, payment is due one month following the receipt of your email acceptance letter.

Please make checks payable to Molecular Biology Summer Workshops and mail to Dr. Steven A. Williams at the address below. Please do not make checks out to Dr. Williams or to Smith College or to New England Biolabs.

If you are from a low-income country or if you are a high school teacher, please contact biolabs@smith.edu regarding a possible scholarship. If you are applying for financial aid and need a visa to enter the US, please provide proof of visa by June 1st. See our FAQs for more information.

Cancellation policy

If you are unable to attend the course after having been accepted, please contact us as soon as possible by email or phone at (413) 585-3915. A full reimbursement will be made for cancellations by May 31st. Any cancellation that deadline will result in a 2/3 refund and only if your place is filled from our waiting list.
