Salvatore Russello


Sal joined NEB in 2007 as the Associate Director of Business Development. Prior to that, he served as the Director of Reagent Marketing at Caliper Life Sciences/Perkin Elmer and as Business Development Manager at Cell Signaling Technology. Sal has a passion for technology and the role it plays in transforming our health, our understanding of biology and ultimately the world we live in.

Ryan Aruck

Regional Account Manager, Eastern US

Ryan has worked at NEB since 2015. Before moving to the role of New England Regional Account Manager for the Customized Solutions Team as, Ryan was responsible for catalog sales in the Northeast, as a Field Account Manager. Prior to joining the NEB Family, Ryan worked at Eppendorf North America where he was responsible for sales of general laboratory equipment and automated liquid handling platforms throughout the Northeast. When not meeting with scientist in the labs, Ryan enjoys spending time playing/watching hockey with his son, cooking for his family, and his gym time.

Joel Lackovich

Senior Regional Account Manager, South Central US

Joel has been a Senior Regional Account Manager at NEB since 2010, and is the point-of-contact for customers in the South Central United States. He is primarily responsible for maintaining and growing OEM and Customized Solutions opportunities with a strategic focus on building long term partnerships in life sciences, molecular diagnostics and regulated markets. Prior to joining NEB, Joel served as the Business Development Manager for the North American Life Sciences Division of Thomson Reuters and an Integration Leader at Life Technologies, now part of Thermo Fisher Scientific. When he is not working, Joel is passionate about spending time with his family, coaching his children’s teams, writing, golf and fitness.

Valerie Levanos

Senior Regional Account Manager, North Central US

Valerie has been with NEB since 2007. She has held positions as an Inside Sales Manager and a Field Account Manager before taking on her current role as a Senior Regional Account Manager for the North/North Central region, where she is excited to connect our diagnostic and therapeutic partners with NEB’s technical and commercial resources, to assist them in achieving their goals. Prior to joining New England Biolabs, Valerie was an Account Manager for Edge Biosystems. Before transitioning to marketing and sales, Valerie worked in Molecular Biology and Immunology research labs for over 5 years. Outside of work, Valerie enjoys running, mountain biking and skiing.

John Pelletier

Associate Director of Regulated Market Development

John has been with NEB since 1989. He is the Associate Director of Regulated Market Development, but prior to that he was a Product Manager and the Director of Customized Solutions. John is very passionate about energy conservation, and initiated the EV Group at NEB that spearheaded the installation of EV charging stations at our Ipswich campus. When not thinking about energy conservation, John loves skiing, biking, sailing and home construction projects.

Euan Forbes

Senior Manager for OEM and Custom Business

Euan has been a Senior Manager for the OEM and Customized Solutions Team since joining NEB in 2018, supporting customers in the UK and the wider European markets. Prior to taking on this role, Euan held several management-level positions at well-respected biotech companies in the UK, including Promega, Fermentas Bioscience, Thermo Fisher Scientific and LGC Biosearch EMEA. When he is not at work, Euan enjoys music and walking.
