Cloning Campaign Offer FAQs

  1. How does the whole process work?
    • On the main campaign page,, enter NEB order confirmation numbers for each product category (only one number per category per submission please.  You can submit multiple NEB order confirmation numbers per category, but they must be in separate submissions.  If you place the order through a freezer program or stockroom, please use their order number).
    • Press SUBMIT.
    • If you are eligible for a reward immediately, you will be shown the REDEEM form.  (If you are not eligible for a reward, it will let you know).  You will also be sent an email.
    • You can choose to ignore the REDEEM button and continue to collect more products for higher tier rewards.
    • Alternatively, you can click REDEEM to claim your reward immediately.
    • If you REDEEM, please fill in your name, shipping and mailing addresses along with phone number to contact you should we have any questions.  You will also be sent an email.
    • Once you redeem, one order confirmation number for each category will be deducted.
    • You can always see the highest tier you are eligible for by clicking on the link on the main campaign page,   For security purposes, you will only be able to REDEEM at this point by following instructions on the email you will receive. 
  2. Can I use different email addresses for my submissions?
    No.  Different email addresses will be recorded as two different people and orders cannot be consolidated.  Please use the same email address for all submissions.
  3. What is an NEB order confirmation number?
    It is a 7-digit number starting with "21" that you will find on your packing slip as well as your confirmation email if the order was placed directly with NEB.
  4. Can I enter different NEB order confirmation numbers for the same category?
    No.  You must submit only one confirmation number per product category per submission.  However, you can submit different categories per submission.  For example, you can submit one comp cell and one ligase confirmation number with the same submission, but you cannot submit two restriction enzyme confirmation number with the same submission.  To submit the second restriction enzyme confirmation number, simply submit another time.
  5. Can an order contain multiple product categories?
    Yes.  An order can contain more than one product category.  Please note that NEB will validate confirmation numbers before awarding rewards.
  6. I was not able to redeem my reward.  Why not?
    You must collect at least two different product categories to be eligible for the first tier reward.
  7. I purchased two different competent cells and tried to REDEEM but it says I am not eligible.  Why?
    You will be eligible as soon as you have collected a minimum of two products from DIFFERENT product categories.  If you only have two of the same categories, you will need to continue collecting until you have purchased a different category.
  8. Can I choose a different ladder or competent cell that is not on the pull-down menu?
    The products that are eligible for the campaign are the ones offered in the pull-down menu.  There are no substitutions. 
  9. I did not save my email – how can I redeem?    
    Simply enter your email on the campaign page and you will see the highest tier you are eligible for.  For security purposes, you will not be able to redeem immediately.  You must redeem via the email you will receive.
  10. Can I see how many categories I have already collected?
    Although you cannot see the full count for each category, you can see which tier you are eligible to redeem rewards for.  Simply enter your email on the campaign page and you see which tier you can redeem.  You will also be sent an email with this information with a link to redeem.
  11. When is the last time I can enter NEB order confirmation numbers?
    Enter order confirmation numbers through March 31, 2014.
  12. I am ordering from a freezer program/stockroom – what do I do?
    Simply check off the box indicating you are using a freezer program/stockroom.  Enter your freezer program/stockroom confirmation number (the one they provide to you when you place an order).  We will confirm the order with your freezer coordinator.
  13. I am ordering from via SciQuest or EDI or cXML and do not have an NEB order confirmation number.  What do I do?
    If you did not receive an NEB confirmation number upon placing the order, it will be available on your packing slip. 
  14. Why do I need to indicate both my shipping and mailing addresses?
    We will ship your free product (if applicable) to the shipping address and the timer and/or cloning box to the mailing address.
  15. Are there multiple drawing winners for the $500 product credit drawing?
    Yes, we will choose a winner once per month during the 4-month campaign period.  Winners will be notified by email.
  16. Are there multiple drawing winners for the $2000 product credit drawing?
    There is on grand-prize $2000 product credit drawing to be held early March 2014. In addition, we have extended the campaign period and added another $2000 product credit drawing to be held early April 2014. Winner will be notified by email.
  17. When will you ship rewards?
    Product rewards will ship within 2 weeks.  Other rewards will ship within 4-6 weeks
