New England Biolabs® to explore the unique challenges faced by core facilities offering Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) services at ABRF 2014

Ipswich, MA (March 19, 2014) – New England Biolabs (NEB®) invites attendees of this year’s Association of Biomedical Research Facilities (ABRF) annual meeting to a luncheon workshop, entitled, “Next Generation Sequencing with NEB: Sample Preparation and Partnering”. Tailored to the unique challenges facing core facilities engaged in NGS library preparation, the workshop will feature presentations on how NEB currently supports and works with core labs, the latest updates to its NEBNext® NGS library preparation kits, and NGS workflow automation.

NEB scientists will also be presenting posters on issues relevant to the ABRF audience, entitled, “Enabling high-throughput discovery of the RNA transcription landscape using a directional RNA workflow and a combinatorial multiplexing approach” and “A Fast, Highly-Multiplexed Solution to NGS Library Prep with Low Nanogram DNA Inputs.”
