FAQ: Can I add gene-specific primers in my LunaScript®  cDNA synthesis reaction?

LunaScript RT SuperMix is optimized for 2-step RT-qPCR detection, containing everything for cDNA synthesis including both dT primer and random hexamer. If alternative or gene-specific primers are desired for cDNA synthesis, LunaScript RT Master Mix Kit (Primer-free) is more appropriate. LunaScript RT Master Mix (Primer-free) (NEB #3025) is identical to LunaScript RT SuperMix but without primers.
